On Wednesday afternoons, 3rd-through-7th-graders meet from 4:00pm to 5:30pm in person. For the first 30 minutes, all students join together in the Sanctuary for Tefillah (prayer) with the Cantor and Rabbi. The remaining hour is divided into two 30-minute blocks. The students get to experience classes like Torah in Motion (which combines music, drama and art in exploring the themes of the weekly Torah portion), Jewish Ethics, Standing On One Foot (each week we learn about a different topic that Jewish people should know something about). Those students who sign up for in-person reading instruction meet from 3:30pm to 4:00pm or 5:30pm to 6:00pm.
