Kindergarten - Grade 1

Sundays, 9:30am - 12pm
In our younger grades, our YAHADUT (JEWISH LEARNING) is focused on creating Jewish memories and committed to building lifelong friendships and community. Who are the people in your neighborhood? Know our “shul” and JLC. Make friends with our Rabbi and Cantor! Engage natural passions like playing outdoors, taking nature hikes in our neighborhood, and storytelling in games that increase our nature awareness.
Our learning integrates Jewish values with Jewish holiday education, Torah stories, and Intro to Hebrew. When learning about the holiday of Tu B’Shevat, we explore the values of Bal Tashchit (not wasting) and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). We engage in the gratitude blessings before snack time and more…
The connection to our NESHAMA (SPIRIT) is through Meditation. Our arts and crafts includes - Painting, Art with natural and recycled materials, Muraling, Sheepswool (Sheep to Shawl!), Knitting, Basket weaving, Crocheting ….
MUSIC is with our Cantor each week: Drum circles, Song sessions, Concerts, Prayer services.
